Don Bosco College Unveils Interdisciplinary Fest Title: Colos – Celebrate Diversity

On October 21, 2024, the Department of Humanities at Don Bosco College, KR Puram, Bengaluru, unveiled the title of its upcoming interdisciplinary fest, ‘Colos – Celebrate Diversity.’ The event, aligned with Mental Health Day, marked the beginning of celebrations focused on diversity, mental health awareness, and interdisciplinary learning.

Fr. Wilson Konthempilly, Director of Don Bosco College, Fr. Sanjay John, Administrator, and Dr. Mary Binu TD, Head of the Humanities Department, unveiled the title. Fr. Wilson, in his address, emphasized the importance of embracing diversity. A flash mob performance was held on the occasion.

The fest, scheduled for October 25, 2024, will include activities such as a Reel Making & Photography Competition, a Quiz Competition, and various interdisciplinary events. These competitions aim to engage students while promoting awareness of mental health and diversity. Students expressed interest in participating in the competitions, and the college is preparing for a celebration focused on inclusivity, creativity, and community engagement.
