BSW Students Create Charts to Study Social Issues

First-semester Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) students presented charts on key social issues as part of their Structured Experiences Laboratory activity on July 30, 2025. The exercise aimed to combine academic learning with creative expression and group collaboration.

Students were asked to select three to four social issues, research the topics, and discuss their findings in groups. Based on this, they designed informative charts that reflected their understanding of the issues.

The displayed charts included visual illustrations, key points, and messages related to the selected topics. The activity served as a platform for students to apply their classroom learning, enhance teamwork, and engage with real-world social concerns. The initiative was part of the ongoing curriculum for the BSW programme, focusing on experiential learning and social awareness.
