Class Representative (CR) Elections for the academic year 2025 were held across all classes on July 31, 2025, during the second academic hour. The event was coordinated by the Student Welfare Office (SWO) and followed a structured process including candidate speeches, ballot voting, and result announcements.
Students who had submitted nominations were invited to present brief campaign speeches before their classmates. Each nominee outlined their plans and responsibilities if elected. After the speeches, students received voter slips and participated in a ballot-based voting system. The vote counting was conducted by class teachers, who then announced the elected CRs and Deputy CRs. The process saw closely contested results in multiple classes.
The elections marked the beginning of the college’s Election Week, an annual event focusing on student leadership and peer representation. Newly elected CRs will serve as liaisons between faculty and students, support classroom coordination, and assist in resolving student concerns. The CR Elections are part of the college’s framework for student engagement in participatory decision-making and leadership roles.
