Colos 2.0: Celebrating Diversity

The Department of Humanities at Don Bosco College, Bengaluru, organized COLOS 2.0 – Celebrate Diversity, an inter-college humanities fest, on September 26, 2025. The fest brought together more than 200 students from 16 institutions in Bengaluru and neighbouring regions, along with online participation from Chennai and Bihar.

The event commenced with an inaugural ceremony attended by His Excellency Rt. Rev. Dr. Satis Kumar, Bishop of Bangalore, as Chief Guest. The program was presided over by Fr. Wilson KD SDB, Rector and Director of Don Bosco College, and Rev. Dr. Geo Kalladanthiyil, Principal.

Competitions were held in the categories of literature, psychology, journalism, culture, and performing arts. Events included photography, reel making, poetry writing, pick and speak, collage making, short film, group dance, group singing, essay writing, face painting, debate, story writing, and mime.

The valedictory session featured Mr. J. B. Shashank as a special guest. Rev. Dr. Geo Kalladanthiyil announced the overall results, with St. Joseph’s Indian Composite PU College named runners-up and St. Charles Girls College declared overall winners. COLOS 2.0 concluded with the distribution of prizes to winners of individual and group events, marking the completion of the inter-college humanities fest.
