Don Bosco College Launches Second Season of Skill-Based Training

The Centre for Employability Skills and Corporate Guidance (CECG) at Don Bosco College, KR Puram, Bengaluru, launched its second season of value-added courses on October 16, 2024. The initiative aims to enhance students’ employability through specialised training in Tally ERP, Microsoft Excel, Public Speaking and Leadership and Digital Marketing in collaboration with Toastmasters International.

In his address, Fr. Wilson Konthempilly, Director of Don Bosco College, stressed the importance of skill training for enhancing employability. Fr. Dr. Geo Kalladanthyil, the Principal, reinforced the college’s mission of holistic student development. Following introductions by Mr. Vinod Kumar, Vice Principal and CECG Chair, the courses commenced immediately in designated venues. Ms. Arha Premam, Faculty Coordinator, representatives from the partnering companies, and student trainees attended the event. The centre, known for offering technical, communication, and soft skills training, launched this new season after the success of its first training round.
