The Placement Cell organized the Don Bosco College Partnership Program with Ma Foi and Apexon Ignite on October 14, 2025. The event aimed to strengthen industry–academia collaboration for student training and employment in the BFSI sector.
The guests included Rev. Dr. Wilson, Director; Rev. Dr. Geo Kalladanthiyil, Principal; Mrs. Hemalatha Rajan, Managing Trustee, Ma Foi Foundation; Mr. Rajiv Krishnan, CEO, Ma Foi Strategic Consultants; and Mr. Subramanian, CIO and Senior Vice President, Apexon. Around 120 students, 10 faculty, and 25 industry partners and media representatives participated.
The program formalized the partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Don Bosco College, Ma Foi, and Apexon Ignite. The collaboration focuses on training-to-placement pathways, curriculum alignment, skill development, and industry certifications for students pursuing careers in the BFSI sector.
Key discussions addressed industry readiness, specialized BFSI skills, internship opportunities, and entrepreneurship development in fintech. Ma Foi and Apexon Ignite will provide training and placement support, while Don Bosco College will oversee academic integration and student engagement. The MoU establishes a long-term partnership framework aimed at enhancing student employability and building structured links between academia and industry.
