Don Bosco College, KR Puram, in collaboration with Infosys under the Project Genesis initiative, launched its Employability Skills Training Workshop on 1 July 2025. Organized by the Centre for Placements and Corporate Relations, the workshop will run until 17 July 2025.
A total of 200 students from various departments are participating in the training, which focuses on enhancing skills in language, soft skills, and quantitative aptitude to meet industry requirements.
The inaugural event was addressed by Rev. Dr. Wilson K.D., Director of the College, and Rev. Dr. Geo Kalladanthiyil, Principal. Infosys resource persons conducting the sessions include Ms. Vidhya Sony and Mr. Varun Hemanth for language and soft skills training and Mr. Mahesh Prabhakar for quantitative aptitude.
Heads of departments and faculty members were present during the sessions and extended their support to the programme. Mr. Eric Richmann, Director of Placements, welcomed the gathering, and Ms. Pooja P. Eashwar, Faculty Coordinator and Head of Department, delivered the vote of thanks. The workshop is part of the ongoing effort to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations.
