Examination Guideline for Students
Instructions to students
- Students should be seated in the Examination Hall 15 minutes prior to be commencement of examination
- Check the room allotment on the notice board.
- Write only the University Registration Number—Avoid making mistakes and do not write your name or any other identifying information on the answer booklet.
- Write only with a blue or black ballpoint pen.
- In the event of change of pen/ink, ensure that the invigilator signs the booklet.
- Examination starts at 9:30am and ends at 12 noon
- ID card is compulsory without which the students will not be allowed for the examination.
- No shoes/pouches and no wrist watches/smart watches are allowed
- Hall ticket is mandatory for every examination.
- You will not be allowed to visit the washroom during the exam hours, except due to emergency purpose
- Students need to get invigilator’s sign in the Hall Ticket for every exam
- Mobile phones are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall
- No exam pad is allowed
- No scientific calculator is allowed
- Students will not be allowed to leave the exam hall once the exam starts
- Students indulging in malpractice will be debarred for 3 years.
Malpractice
- Students should not resort to any unfair practices (chits, talking, peeping into others answer scripts) of any nature inside the examination hall. If any student is found to be involved in any unfair means during an examination, they will be immediately expelled from the examination hall.
Breaks
- No student shall be allowed to leave the examination hall within 1 hour of the commencement of the examination.
- If a student needs to leave the examination hall, he or she must first obtain permission from the concerned invigilator.
Miscellaneous
- While leaving the examination hall, the students should not linger around in the college building; instead, they should move out of the college building immediately.
Dress Code
- Jackets, sweaters, and folded sleeved dresses are not permitted for students (both boys and girls).
- Students are not supposed to wear shoes during exams; they are asked to wear sandals or slippers instead. Students are also not supposed to wear socks during the examination.
- Uniform is not mandatory how ever students are not permitted to wear full sleeved shirts and dresses
