Infosys BPM Ltd., as part of its CSR initiative under Project Genesis, conducted a Skill Development Program for final-year students of Don Bosco College, KR Puram, from July 1 to July 17, 2025. The training focused on enhancing students’ communication and quantitative aptitude skills.
The program was conducted in two batches, each comprising over 80 students, and was held on campus from Monday to Saturday. It was structured into two phases: Language and Soft Skills Training, and Quantitative Aptitude Training.
Phase 1 was facilitated by Ms. Vidhya Sony and Mr. Varun Hemanth, while Mr. Mahesh Prabhakar and Mr. Arun led Phase 2. Sessions covered communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, analytical ability, and logical reasoning.
The program began with an inaugural ceremony on July 1, attended by Rev. Dr. Geo Kalladanthiyil, Principal; Rev. Dr. Wilson K. D., Director; and Mr. Vinod Kumar, Vice Principal. The welcome address was delivered by Mr. Eric Richmann, Placement Director, and the vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Pooja P. Eashwar, Placement Coordinator.
Attendance was monitored throughout the program. Students with 100% attendance are eligible to receive a certificate of participation. The program concluded on July 17, 2025, with a valedictory session and a group photograph. Students also shared feedback on the sessions with the training team.
