The Department of Management organized an industrial visit to Super Tasty Foods (Britannia) on October 11, 2025, for the First Semester BBA students of Don Bosco College. The visit was part of the department’s experiential learning and industry exposure initiatives.
The visit was coordinated by Dr. Maria Nirmal Preethi, Head of the Department of Management, with the support of Rev. Dr. Geo, Principal, Don Bosco College. Ms. Sasikala and Dr. Amal Infanto Vensley accompanied the students.
During the visit, students observed the production processes at the plant, including raw material handling, automated baking, packaging, and dispatch. Representatives of Super Tasty Foods explained the company’s manufacturing systems, quality control measures, and operational workflow.
An interaction session was held with the plant officials, where students were briefed on safety standards, hygiene protocols, and the functioning of a food manufacturing unit. The session also covered aspects of supply chain management and employment opportunities in the FMCG industry. The Department of Management acknowledged Super Tasty Foods (Britannia) for facilitating the visit and thanked the college management for supporting the initiative.
