On Friday, 24 January 2025, the NSS unit of Don Bosco College harvested a variety of vegetables from its garden. The garden, maintained by NSS volunteers, includes beans, tomatoes, radishes, ladies’ fingers, and maize. The success of the garden is attributed to the use of organic manure sourced from the composting unit on campus. This unit, developed with support from the SORT project, facilitates waste segregation and recycling, providing a steady supply of manure for the garden. The NSS volunteers continue to care for the garden with plans for future harvests.
