

The Valedictory Ceremony of Project Genesis was held on March 26, 2025, at Don Bosco College, KR Puram, marking the conclusion of the employability skill training program for the graduating batch. The event featured Ms. Shalini Jayakrishnan, Principal HR and Head CSR, Infosys BPM, as the chief guest.
Rev. Dr. Geo Kalladanthiyil, Principal, delivered the welcome address, acknowledging Infosys BPM’s role in supporting student employability training. Rev. Dr. Wilson KD, Director of Don Bosco College, highlighted the significance of structured training in preparing students for the job market.
Ms. Shalini Jayakrishnan engaged with students receiving their certificates and discussed key aspects of career readiness, emphasizing language skills, aptitude training, and overall job market preparedness. A total of 86 students from the graduating batch were awarded certificates along with study materials. Kiran from 6th BBA and Maria Delphine from 6th BCom shared their experiences on how Project Genesis improved their employability skills and confidence.
A video presentation showcased the journey of Project Genesis, covering Faculty Development Programs (FDP) in Mysore and Mangalore, a 15-day student training program, an Infosys campus visit, and the valedictory ceremony. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Vinod Kumar, Vice Principal and Programme Coordinator for Project Genesis, recognizing the contributions of Infosys BPM, faculty, and students. After the ceremony, a strategic discussion was held between Ms. Shalini Jayakrishnan, the Principal, the Vice Principal, and the Placement Director, Mr. Eric Richman. The discussion focused on strengthening industry ties with Infosys, leading to a memorandum outlining future collaboration in industry engagement and employability training.
