
The Department of Commerce at Don Bosco College organized Vanijya’25, its first intra-collegiate commerce fest, on March 25, 2025. The event included multiple competitions aimed at testing business knowledge, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
The fest featured five competitions: Odin’s Throne (Best Manager) was a leadership challenge assessing decision-making, resilience, and management skills. Finova (Finance Event) focused on investment strategies, financial case studies, and market trends. Biz Quiz (Commerce Quiz) tested participants on business trends, brand awareness, and economic insights. Prism (Public Relations) evaluated PR expertise, crisis management, and communication skills. Trade Masters (Beg, Barter & Sell) involved business negotiation and marketing, requiring strategic trading and selling.
Students from various departments participated in the competitions. The event served as a platform for participants to apply their business knowledge and engage in competitive activities. Vanijya’25 marked the launch of an annual initiative by the Department of Commerce. The organizers aim to expand the event in future editions.
