On October 4, 2024, the Department of Management organized an industrial visit for the 1st, 3rd, and 5th-semester students of the BBA program to Bharath Toy Factory and Bharath Art & Crafts in Channapatna. The purpose of the visit was to expose students to the real-world operations of toy and handicraft production processes, enhancing their understanding of industrial practices.

During the visit, students observed the entire toy-making process, from wood shaping to colouring, guided by unit manager Mr. Srinivas and in-charge Ms. Rakshita. The students were provided detailed explanations about different types of wood used in production, such as neem wood for spoons and teething toys, and learned about modern techniques like laser cutting.

The visit allowed students to interact with professionals, ask questions, and witness the integration of machines and traditional methods in toy production. This hands-on experience highlighted the importance of quality management and production techniques, enriching their academic knowledge and sparking enthusiasm for their future careers. All students from the 1st, 3rd, and 5th semesters attended the visit, accompanied by their respective class teachers, making it a successful and enlightening educational experience.
