On April 22, 2025, Don Bosco College, K. R. Puram, laid the foundation stone for a new college canteen, initiating a campus infrastructure project. Rev. Dr. Jose Thomas Koyickal, Provincial of the Sacred Heart Province of Bangalore and President of the Management Council of Don Bosco College, led the ceremony at the college campus.
Those present included: Rev. Dr. Wilson, Rector; Rev. Dr. Geo Kalladanthiyil, Principal; Fr. Sanjay, Administrator; Fr. Prasad, Director of Bosco Institute of Social Sciences (BISS); Mr. Vinod Kumar, Vice Principal; and Mr. Joji Mathews, Contractor and Builder. Before the event, Fr. Provincial joined the staff for morning prayer and addressed the faculty. The canteen is planned as part of efforts to enhance campus facilities and student services.
