The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is the largest uniformed youth organization in India, functioning under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. Established on 15 July 1948 through an Act of Parliament, the NCC aims to develop disciplined, responsible, and patriotic citizens by nurturing leadership, character, and a spirit of selfless service.

The NCC provides structured training to students through regular institutional parades, camps, adventure activities, social service initiatives, and military-oriented training. It offers young men and women a unique platform to develop physical fitness, confidence, teamwork, and leadership while contributing meaningfully to society.

At Don Bosco College, the NCC unit is committed to empowering students through holistic development, instilling the values of Unity and Discipline—the official motto of the NCC. Cadets are encouraged to become responsible citizens, effective leaders, and ambassadors of national service.
