Bosconian Fest 2024, held at Don Bosco College in KR Puram, Bengaluru, from October 7 to 10, was a vibrant celebration of creativity and talent. Under the theme ‘Dreamverse,’ the festival showcased a variety of competitions, including MC Hunt, Stand-up Comedy, Group Singing, Open Mic, Solo Singing, Group Dance, and a Fashion Show, creating unforgettable moments of entertainment and artistic expression for all participating students.
The day’s highlights included the photography contest, where the winning shot expertly played with light and shadow, and the bridal makeover competition, which saw models transformed into ethereal Dreamverse brides. Nail art competitions featured intricate designs, while the story-writing contest transported readers to mystical worlds through imaginative tales.
In his keynote address, Fr. Wilson Konthempilly, Director of Don Bosco College, emphasised that the four-day festival is “more than just a competition; it is a journey that brings together creativity, teamwork, passion, and an appreciation of the rich cultural heritage.” He encouraged students to participate with enthusiasm and a spirit of togetherness.
Fr. Dr. Geo Kalladanthyil, Principal of Don Bosco College, delivered the inaugural address, highlighting the event as “a celebration of our family spirit, talent, and dreams.” He thanked the faculty and students organising the event and encouraged everyone to participate wholeheartedly, give their best, and create lasting memories.
