Don Bosco College, KR Puram, in collaboration with Zerodha Varsity, conducted the intra-college India’s Premier Finance Quiz – 2025 on July 31, 2025. The event aimed to promote financial awareness and innovative money practices among students, drawing participation from 61 teams across departments.
Each team, consisting of three members, competed in multiple rounds covering topics such as stock markets, personal finance, banking, and economic trends. The quiz was designed to test and improve students’ financial literacy and critical thinking skills. The team of Varshitha, William Sam, and Vishwas from the 5th Semester BBA secured the first prize of ₹12,000. The second prize of ₹9,000 was awarded to Ajay, Rohith, and Darmik from 1st Semester BCom (F&A), while the third prize of ₹3,000 went to Felix, Karthik Immanuel, and Prakurthi from 5th Semester BCom.
The event was organized by a team of faculty members from different departments, including Dr. Maria Nirmal, Mr. Saurabh Kamal, Ms. Reshma, Ms. Reetika, Ms. Tasmiya, and Mr. Amith. Special acknowledgement was given to Rev. Dr. Wilson, Director of the College, and Rev. Dr. Geo Kalladanthiyil, Principal, for their support and leadership throughout the event. The Finance Quiz was part of the college’s efforts to enhance student engagement and practical learning in financial education.
