The Department of Commerce, Don Bosco College, KR Puram, Bengaluru, conducted a community outreach programme on financial literacy for II Year B.Com students at the Don Bosco Learning and Activity Centre, Swathanthra Nagar, TC Palaya, Bengaluru.
The programme was organised under the guidance of Ms. Faseela C K, Faculty Coordinator. It aimed to promote financial awareness and social responsibility through community engagement.
II Year B. Com students conducted the session and presented financial literacy topics to the participants. The session covered saving money, budgeting, managing expenses, spending habits, and basic financial planning.
The programme was attended by 45 children and their parents. The session was conducted through presentations and participant interaction. The outreach activity was part of the department’s community engagement initiatives.
