Don Bosco College, KR Puram, Bengaluru, celebrated Teachers’ Day on 5 September 2026 with enthusiasm and gratitude, honouring the dedicated service and invaluable contributions of its teaching and non-teaching faculty. Organised by the Student Council, the celebration began with classroom interactions between students and their class teachers, followed by a special procession to the Open Auditorium for the main programme.
The celebration commenced with an Invocation Dance by the Eastern Dance Team, followed by the Welcome Address by Rev. Dr. George P.S., Vice-Rector and BISS Director. Rev. Dr. Wilson K.D. delivered the Director’s Address, acknowledging the commitment of the faculty and their significant role in shaping and guiding students. A special felicitation ceremony was then conducted by the student leaders as a heartfelt gesture of appreciation towards the teaching and non-teaching faculty.
Adding to the festive spirit, the faculty presented a lively Teachers’ Dance Performance, followed by fun-filled games organised by the students. The celebration concluded with energetic dance and singing performances by the students, creating a joyful and memorable atmosphere. The occasion strengthened the bond between teachers and students and served as a warm tribute to the educators who continue to inspire, guide and empower the student community.
