Don Bosco College, K.R. Puram, organized an intercollegiate cultural fest, Boscotsav’24, on November 30, 2024. Drawing participation from 28 colleges and over 587 students across Bengaluru and Mysuru, the fest showcased the theme, “Dream Your Dream! – Dare to Dream, Dare to Rise!”, providing a platform for youthful aspirations to take center stage.
Mount Carmel PU College, Millers Road, claimed the overall champion trophy along with a cash prize of ₹25,000, while St. Joseph’s Pre-University College, Museum Road, secured the runners-up position, winning a trophy and ₹15,000. The day-long fest featured a diverse line up of events across various domains.
The program included group singing competitions, solo singing performances, and freestyle dance battles. Intellectual pursuits were represented in the English debate competition and an imaginative storytelling event named Skyline Collapse. Creative writing offered an outlet for participants to express themselves through words, while Potpourri combined games like Pictionary and Dumb Charades with motion-based quizzes.
Rangoli designs, face painting, and mime performances showcased artistic elements. The event concluded with a fashion show that featured style and charisma. Boscotsav’24 highlighted the integration of intellectual and cultural activities through detailed planning and teamwork, making it a memorable occasion for participants and attendees.
