Don Bosco College, KR Puram, Bengaluru, held the Academic Inauguration Ceremony for the academic year 2026-2027 on 15 July 2026 at 11:15 a.m., marking the formal commencement of the new academic session. The programme was attended by the management, faculty members, and students, setting a positive tone for the year ahead.
The ceremony began with the Welcome Address by the Principal, Rev. Dr. Geo Kalladanthiyil, who greeted the gathering and highlighted the importance of academic excellence, discipline, and holistic development. This was followed by the Director’s Address by Rev. Dr. Wilson, who encouraged students to make the best use of the opportunities provided by the institution and strive for excellence in all their academic pursuits.
The programme continued with the Felicitation, followed by an inspiring address by the Chief Guest, Rev. Dr. Br. Antony Samy, Principal and Director of Lake Montfort School, Bangalore. In his address, he motivated students to pursue knowledge with dedication, uphold moral values, and prepare themselves to become responsible citizens and future leaders.
The ceremony concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Pooja P Easwar, Head of the Department of Commerce, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, management, faculty members, and students for their contributions. The event ended on an inspiring note, setting the stage for a fruitful and successful academic year.
