Don Bosco College, KR Puram, Bengaluru, held its College Day celebration on May 1, 2026. Dr. Sandeep Gunjal, IRS, Joint Commissioner, Bengaluru Customs, attended as Chief Guest, and Rev. Fr. Kalanchery Shalbin SDB, Vice Provincial, was the Guest of Honour. Rev. Dr. Wilson KD, Rector and Manager; Rev. Dr. Geo Kalladanthyil, Principal; Rev. Fr. Santhosh Stephen, Administrator; and Mr. Vinod Kumar, Vice Principal, were present.
The programme began with the escort of the Chief Guest, followed by an invocation song and the lighting of the lamp. The welcome address, presidential address, and the Chief Guest’s address followed. An award ceremony was conducted to recognize student performance in academics and extracurricular activities.
The cultural segment, titled ‘Vibrance Unleashed,’ included classical and semi-classical dance, Punjabi dance, Kathakali, and Western dance performances. A fashion show and a skit on the Spirit of Don Bosco were also part of the programme. The event concluded with the college anthem.
