On March 24, 2026, the Department of Commerce, Don Bosco College, KR Puram, Bengaluru, organized an industrial visit for Final Year B.Com (A & B) students to Fabric Spa, Doddaballapur.
A total of 81 students participated, accompanied by Ms. Shwetha S. M., Faculty, and Ms. Pooja P. Easwar, Head of the Department. The visit was conducted to provide exposure to service sector operations and to understand the application of business concepts in practice.
During the visit, students observed the functioning of a fabric care and maintenance unit, service operations, workflow management, and the use of technology in fabric treatment. They also noted processes related to quality control, customer service, and business management. The programme focused on linking academic learning with industry practices.
