Commerce Students Visit RBI Bengaluru for Industrial Exposure

The Department of Commerce at Don Bosco College organized an industrial visit to the Reserve Bank of India, Bengaluru, for II Year B.Com students on April 23, 2026. A total of 43 students participated in the visit, accompanied by Ms. Faseela C K, faculty member of the department.

The visit focused on providing exposure to the structure and functioning of the central banking system, the role of the Reserve Bank of India in monetary policy and regulation, and aspects of currency management and financial systems.

Officials at the Reserve Bank of India briefed students on functions including inflation control, currency issuance and circulation, and supervision of banks and financial institutions. The session also covered digital banking and financial security. The visit included an interactive session where students engaged with officials and sought clarifications on banking and financial operations.
