The Department of Commerce of Don Bosco College, KR Puram conducted a guest lecture on ‘Financial Awareness and Consumer Training’ on 30 January 2026. The session was delivered by Mr. Renjith Mathew, Financial Education Trainer at the National Centre for Financial Education. He addressed students on financial literacy, money management, budgeting, consumer rights and responsibilities, identification of financial frauds, and informed financial decision-making.
The programme began with a welcome address by Ms. Shivani P. The resource person was introduced by Mr. Parth Sharma. Students participated through questions and discussions during the session. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Datta Divya M.
