Don Bosco College, KR Puram, Bengaluru, organized the “Meet Your Candidate” ceremony for the Office Bearers Elections 2026–2027 on 21 July 2026, providing a platform for contesting candidates to introduce themselves and share their vision with the student community. The event began at 11:15 a.m. and witnessed active participation from students and faculty.
The programme commenced with an inspiring address by the Director, Rev. Dr. Wilson, who emphasized the importance of leadership, responsibility, and fair democratic participation. His message encouraged students to engage thoughtfully in the electoral process and uphold the values of integrity and accountability.
A total of 27 candidates contesting for various office bearer positions addressed the gathering, presenting their ideas, goals, and plans for contributing to the student body. The session enabled students to gain deeper insights into the candidates, helping them make informed choices in the upcoming elections.
The event concluded successfully, fostering a spirit of healthy competition, active student engagement, and democratic values within the college community.
