Don Bosco College, KR Puram, Bengaluru, conducted the Newbies’ Valedictory Ceremony on 6 July 2026 from 11:20 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., marking the successful conclusion of the induction programme for first-year students. The event celebrated the enthusiasm, talents, and active participation of the newcomers while formally welcoming them into the institutional community.
The programme was presided over by Rev. Fr. William D’Cunha, Principal of St. Vincent Pallotti PU College, who delivered an inspiring address encouraging students to embrace opportunities with dedication, integrity, and perseverance. He highlighted the importance of discipline, time management, teamwork, and active participation in both academic and co-curricular activities for holistic development.
The cultural segment added vibrancy to the event, with students showcasing their talents through Group Singing, Group Dance, Fashion Walk, and Theatre performances. These activities reflected creativity, confidence, and teamwork, while also helping students overcome stage fear and express themselves effectively.
The event also fostered a sense of belonging by encouraging interaction among students, faculty, and seniors. It concluded with the announcement of competition results, where Topaz Tigers were declared Runners-up and Ruby Rhinos emerged as Overall Champions. The valedictory ceremony ended on a joyful and memorable note, marking the beginning of a promising academic journey for the new batch.
