Don Bosco College, KR Puram, hosted a Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) and Felicitation Ceremony on November 23, 2024. The event aimed to foster better communication between parents and teachers and recognize students’ achievements in academics, co-curricular activities, and sports.
During the PTM, parents had the opportunity to meet with teachers to discuss their children’s academic progress and overall development. Teachers provided feedback on student performance and addressed concerns raised by the parents.
The Felicitation Ceremony followed the PTM, where students were honoured for their achievements. The Director, Principal, Vice Principal, and Administrator presented awards and certificates to the students. Among the recipients, 28 fifth-semester students from various UG courses were recognized with Academic Excellence Awards. Two third-semester BCA students, Mr. Charles Benny and Ms. Sharley, were awarded internship letters from Christ Global Residential School. Additionally, two third-semester BBA students, Mr. Vinay and Mr. Vishwas, were honoured for securing second place in the National Level Awards for Best Entrepreneurship and Innovations. The Women’s Basketball Team received certificates, medals, and a Runner-Up trophy for their performance, while 49 students were awarded certificates, trophies, and the Overall Winner-Up trophy for their participation in an inter-college fest at Garden City University. The ceremony concluded with a focus on continued collaboration between parents and teachers to support students’ academic and personal growth.
