Rev. Dr. George Thadathil SDB Visits Don Bosco College

Rev. Dr. George Thadathil SDB, Head of the Salesian Institutions of Higher Education (IUS), Rome, visited Don Bosco College, Bengaluru, on November 11, 2025. During the visit, he met with faculty and student groups to discuss academic growth and student leadership.

In his interaction with the Academic Council, he spoke about strengthening international academic partnerships and pointed to the presence of Don Bosco institutions worldwide as a resource for collaboration. Meeting the Student Welfare Office Council, he introduced the ‘2–4–All’ method to support participatory decision-making. Student leaders shared their experiences from BOSCOTSAV ’25 and discussed how students had taken up new leadership roles. Addressing the class representatives, he highlighted the importance of responsibility and steady commitment in student leadership.

Following his visit, the college outlined a few priorities, including building global connections, expanding student participation in leadership, and nurturing a more engaged campus environment. Principal Rev. Dr. Geo Kalladanthiyil SDB said the visit contributed to the college’s ongoing development plans.
